About me

i'm a self-taught photographer, curious about life, people and emotions. i'm located close to Basel (Switzerland), where i run a professional darkroom studio. although i have to admit that my beginnings in photography were much more in colour, it is black & white that speaks most directly to me on an emotional level. technically i'm old school, i like the craft of handprinting on silver gelatin paper and the interpretation of a given negative with my inner vision to a great black & white print.
